How true that ad is! You know what made me realise how deeply ingrained racism is (without most people even noticing it) - it was nearly 20 years ago (that makes me feel old!) on the Oprah show. They did an experiment and had a lady talk on the subject. She pointed out how we have tights being sold in the colour 'nude', but the 'nude' is usually a colour of a white person's skin. Had never thought about that before but yes, why is that? It's like the manufacturers are only acknowleding one race, and it's just (wrongly) accepted.
I'm a finalist in the photography blog category; if you don't vote, camera's everywhere will explode. Actually, I'll just be a little bit sad, but we don't want that either.
I love that - that is brilliant :) Thank you
